All contestants and teams must report directly to this venue at least 15 minutes before the round begins. College ID card is mandatory for entry verification.
Event Guidelines & Rules
- The event theme is “Weaves of the World – A celebration of global textiles, uniting cultures through fabric, pattern, and design.”
- Each team may have up to two accompanists. Accompanists must register as non-participants on the day of the event.
- The total event duration is 15 minutes: 12 minutes for the ramp walk (including stage setup and performance) + 3 minutes for the question-answer round.
- Exceeding the allotted time will result in negative marking.
- Teams are encouraged to explore and portray cultural diversity. Inspirations may be drawn from one or multiple cultures to highlight the global essence of the theme.
- Participants may showcase traditional, contemporary, or fusion designs. The connection to cultural weaves must be evident throughout. Props and accessories that enhance the theme are permitted, provided they remain safe and non-intrusive. Large, hazardous, disruptive, or flammable props are strictly prohibited.
- Background narration and visual projections are permitted.
- Background music and visuals must be uploaded to Google Drive and submitted to the organizers before the event.
- Participants are expected to arrive in full costume and be prepared for their performance.
- Any form of vulgarity, obscenity, or inappropriate representation will lead to immediate disqualification.
- The use of hazardous materials, cigarettes, alcohol, or any unfair means is strictly prohibited.
- Judging criteria: Relevance to theme, Costume design, Walk and stage presence, Posture and attitude, Q&A performance.
- The decision of the judges will be final and binding.
